The ONE BAY Livable Communities Working Group is the consolidation of the Tampa Bay Regional Transportation Authority (TBARTA) Land Use Working Group, the ONE BAY Technical Team, and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) Regional Planning Advisory Committee. Since May 2008, these three groups have held combined meetings to discuss the Tampa Bay region's land use planning issues, specifically relating to existing land use patterns, long-range land use plans, growth projections, and local community goals. Technical experts from various land use planning agencies, environmental groups, the development community, transportation agencies, and others, regularly participate in this group.

TBRPC has assumed staffing of the combined committee activities from TBARTA, working in coordination with the other ONE BAY partner organizations. The group serves as an open forum to discuss strategies for improving the built environment, natural environment and mobility in the Tampa Bay region. Through its participants, who represent a variety of public and private interests in the Tampa Bay area, the ONE BAY Livable Communities Working Group acts as catalyst for building new partnerships throughout the region.
