Tampa BASIS 5
The Tampa Bay Estuary Program, the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, and a Steering Committee of Tampa Bay experts hosted Tampa BASIS 5. The event was held October 20 - 23, 2009 at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort in St. Petersburg. BASIS 5 is the fifth Bay Area Scientific Information Symposium.
The symposium theme for 2009 is “Using Our Knowledge to Shape Our Future.” At the event, participants revisited and updated the science that was first presented at BASIS 1, held in May 1982.
