Financing Climate Resilience and Mitigation Workshop
Learn from leading experts working on innovative climate adaptation finance and mitigation strategies. Gain insight on best practices for resilience planning, risk reduction, asset prioritization, cost-benefit-analysis, methods for quantifying natural and hybrid green infrastructure, and diverse funding mechanisms.

The program will also include a presentation on The Nature Conservancy’s recent collaboration with Chubb Insurance to demonstrate flood protection benefits of nature-based solutions. The project is designed to increase protection from flooding and serve as a model that can be replicated in other coastal cities in the U.S. and globally. Chubb Insurance is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.

Resilient Coalition Partner: This workshop was coordinated and financially support by The Nature Conservancy. Increasing local government capacity to develop financing that supports mitigation and adaptation efforts are among the priorities of the Tampa Bay Regional Resilience Coalition.
